Training and interacting with doctoral students is one of the more rewarding aspects of my career. I have had the opportunity to work with a number of talented people who pursued a variety of research projects. In addition to serving on dissertation committees, frequently with doctoral students to develop research ideas, carry out the research projects, and turn their work into a research agenda. The outcome of these interactions has been successful with students publishing in a number of well-established venues, including Public Administration Review, American Review of Public Administration and Public Budgeting and Finance, among others.
